TANGO TEACHERS

Ann

Ann started her first tango lesson in October 1998 at Sandra Cameron Dance Center in New York where she landed her foundation of walking (Caminada). Then she further explored and found her tango improved significantly at Dance Manhattan Studio where she met her favorite teachers; Mariela Franganillo (www.tejastango.com/mariela.html) and Pablo Pugliese. All members of TangoMujer at that time are her teachers (Rebecca Shulman, Valeria Solomonoff, Fabienne Bongard and Brigitta Winkler); each one has her own specialty and unique teaching technique.

Living in New York had opened opportunities for Ann to take several workshops from great instructors around the world, to name a few: Jorge Torres, Cecilia Caia, Carolina Zokalski & Diego Di Falco, and Eric Jorrissen.

In 2004, Ann extended her tango journey to Buenos Aires where she further enhanced and polished her tango study with many instructors include Mingo & Esther Pugliese, Guillermina Quiroga, and she learned more about nuevo tango style from Dana Frigoli & Pablo Villarosa.

Back to Bangkok in late 2004, it was not until mid 2005 when she met Andreas Lehrke; the only tango teacher in Thailand at that time, and learned the leading part from him.

Now Ann is sharing her tango experience and teaching Tango every Saturday at rumPUREE World Dance Studio, more information contact www.rumpuree.com or 02 250 0067, 081 430 6684
